ARF Bureau Representative Hagop Der-Khatchadourian made a
\nstatement on the arrest of Former State Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanyan and
\nthat of Former Foreign Minister of Artsakh Davit Babayan.<\/p>\n
“We demand that the Armenian authorities and the
\ninternational community immediately take every legal, political and diplomatic action
\nto secure the release of all the detainees from Artsakh. We, in turn, will make
\nour best efforts to make sure that international human rights organizations,
\nofficials, politicians and individuals from various countries exert pressure on
\nAzerbaijan,” he said.<\/p>\n
The Bureau representative noted that arresting Artsakh
\nleaders and freedom fighters is a common practice used by Azerbaijan, which is
\ncriminal and must be immediately countered.<\/p>\n\n
“Despite the severe loss that our nation has suffered, we do
\nnot have the right to give up and to lose heart. The struggle will go on,” he
\nnoted.
