Yerevan and Baku are discussing the possibility of
\nwithdrawing troops from the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Armenian Foreign
\nMinister Ararat Mirzoyan said this in a press briefing with Estonian Foreign
\nMinister Margus Tsahkna.

“We have proposed withdrawing troops from the
\nArmenian-Azerbaijani border, and we believe that this will help avert potential
\nescalations. I would not say that we have agreed on this, but it is now being
\ndiscussed,” he said.

Mirzoyan noted there has been no news of the exchange of
\nprisoners. “There were two components: the exchange of prisoners and the U.N.
\nClimate Change Conference, which officially closed yesterday. Now, we can
\nalready wait for the implementation of the second component. We have no reason
\nto say that the Azerbaijani side may go back on the agreement,” he said.
