The U․S․ Department of State has started considering how to prevent Yerevan from straying from the so-called democratic path, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said in a statement.<\/p>\n
“The Americans are thinking about how to ensure that Yerevan does not deviate from the so-called democratic course. They see the solution in ‘strengthening’ the ‘less reliable segments’ of the current Armenian authorities through their tried-and-true proxies.<\/p>\n
Such globalist democratization circles for the U.S. are Aram Sargsyan’s Hanrapetutyun Party, Arman Babajanyan’s For the Republic Party, Tigran Khzmalyan’s European Party of Armenia, and Levon Shirinyan’s Christian-Democratic Rebirth Party,” the agency stated.<\/p>\n
As noted, the United States has already begun promoting pro-Western parties in Armenia with the aim of securing their entry into parliament in the 2026 elections.<\/p>\n
