Two kindergarten students were critically wounded in a shooting at a Christian elementary school in California on Wednesday, a potentially religiously motivated incident in which the gunman was found dead with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The two wounded students—both boys aged five and six—were transported to local hospitals and are in “extremely critical condition.”<\/p>\n
Authorities don’t believe the gunman had any links to the shooting victims but believe he may have targeted the school “because of its affiliation with that particular religious organization.”<\/p>\n
