We are close to achieving peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said.<\/p>\n
“There is a glimmer of hope for peace in the South Caucasus. Ensuring peace will contribute to the region’s development and create new opportunities. Turkey supports all efforts in this process. Our country backs the negotiations between the parties, which are ongoing on a bilateral basis, without intermediaries,” Fidan stated.<\/p>\n
Fidan also addressed the situation in Georgia, expressing regret over the events occurring in the country.<\/p>\n
