This was noted by CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov in an article published in the National Defense<\/a> (Национальная оборона) magazine. According to him, the organization successfully overcomes the challenges and threats to the security of member states, which are increasingly becoming hybrid in nature.<\/p>\n

Tasmagambetov drew attention to the fact that “the desire to create a system commensurate with the new conditions for ensuring global and regional security further updates the issue of finding political and diplomatic instruments for the peaceful resolution of conflicts.” One of such instruments, according to him, is the CSTO, which “continues to fully perform its functions” in the context of the growing complexities of the international situation, has significant potential for further development, and demonstrates adaptability, considering “global geopolitical processes and the hybrid nature of modern conflicts.”<\/p>\n

Tasmagambetov stated that CSTO forces have been actively equipped with modern weaponry throughout 2024, and their capabilities will continue to strengthen.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
