“The aid does not include Armenian, Azerbaijani, or Turkish
\ngoods. These are the foreign goods, mentioned by the Artsakh InfoCenter. The
\nconvoy was escorted by the ICRC and the Russian peacekeepers. This does not
\nmean integration. To ameliorate the dire humanitarian situation, the sides have
\nagreed — under the Russian mediation — to tackle the food shortages for at
\nleast one or two days without compromise or concessions. This is an interim
\nsolution, which will allow us to negotiate in a more effective way in the
\nfuture,” Hakobyan said.<\/p>\n
She noted that the problem facing Artsakh is not
\nhumanitarian in nature, but political.<\/p>\n\n
“The humanitarian situation will not be stable until a
\npolitical solution is adopted,” Hakobyan noted.
