The Ukrainian authorities were not informed about the planned negotiations in Saudi Arabia; they will not participate in them, and do not intend to recognize them, Interfax-Ukraine<\/a> writes, noting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during a briefing in the United Arab Emirates, commenting on reports about the meeting between Russian and U.S. representatives in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

“Ukraine will not attend; Ukraine knew nothing about it; Ukraine considers negotiations on Ukraine without Ukraine to be ineffective. We cannot recognize any agreement or decision made about us without our involvement. We will not acknowledge such agreements,” Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n
