From Sept. 8 to Sept. 14, the 7th European Junior Olympiad
\nin Informatics (EJOI) was held in Kutaisi, Georgia. Ninth-graders Alex
\nGrigoryan (Quantum College), Alexander Ghazaryan, Vahan Abrahamyan and Makar
\nDilanyan (PhysMath School) represented Armenia in the Olympiad.<\/p>\n
The RA MoESCS reports that the Armenian team won three
\nmedals. Alex Grigoryan received a gold, Alexander Ghazaryan won a silver and Vahan
\nAbrahamyan got a bronze. Makar Dilanyan received an honorable mention. Armen
\nAndreasyan and Samvel Andreasyan from YSU led the team.<\/p>\n
Ninety-six students from 24 countries participated in the
\nOlympiad. The format of the Olympiad was the same as the one of the
\nInternational Olympiad in Informatics: each country could be represented by a
\nmaximum of four students.<\/p>\n\n
To remind, in the 6th European Junior Olympiad in
\nInformatics, which was held online in Ukraine in 2022, the Armenian team had
\nreceived one gold medal, two silvers and one bronze.
