<\/p>The U.S. Embassy in Armenia issued a statement on the
\nArmenia-U.S. joint military exercises held in Armenia. It is noted that 85 U.S.
\nsoldiers and 175 Armenian soldiers are taking part in the Eagle Partner
\nexercise.<\/p>\n
“The Eagle Partner exercise is a testament to our
\nlongstanding partnership with Armenia and builds upon decades of successful
\npeacekeeping and security cooperation, underpinned by Armenia’s enduring
\nrelationship with the Kansas national Guard under the Department of Defense’s
\nState Partnership Program,” said Ambassador Kvien.<\/p>\n\n
“Our ties with Armenia are multifaceted and cooperative. The
\nU.S. has consistently extended military assistance to Armenia, especially in
\nbolstering the nation’s capabilities in crucial areas such as nonproliferation
\nand peacekeeping,” said Major General Anderson.
