A few days ago, cases of the new subvariant of Omicron,
\ncalled Acrux (XBB.2.3), were reported in Armenia. According to the Sept. 12
\nfigures, in the past seven days, 71 cases of COVID-19 were reported in the
\ncountry. In fact, the number has increased by 29 (42 cases) compared with the
\nfigures of the previous week. The RA Ministry of Health reported this.<\/p>\n
The WHO encourages all countries to tighten controls and the
\nCOVID-19 testing measures.<\/p>\n

To prevent SARS and COVID-19 outbreaks in Armenia, the
\nMinistry of Health urges everyone to get vaccinated against seasonal influenza
\nand coronaviruses.<\/p>\n
