The Russian government has temporarily banned the hard wheat
\nexport, the Government press service reports.

“Russia is imposing a temporary ban on the hard wheat
\nexport. The decision is aimed at food security and will contribute to the
\nstability of prices of hard wheat products in the domestic market,” reads the
\ngovernment statement.
<\/p><\/p>\n
The ban will be in effect until May 31, 2024.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Hard wheat export is allowed to the EAEU countries, namely
\nArmenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, under the quotas set by the
\nGovernment, if the Russian Ministry of Agriculture issues a permit.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Exceptions are also made for international humanitarian aid,
\nas well as exports to Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
