During the meeting, Tatoyan noted that the authorities of
\nAzerbaijan implement a fascist Armenophobic policies with impunity towards both
\nArmenia and Artsakh.

“Azerbaijan has blocked Artsakh for already 275 days.
\n120,000 ethnic Armenians (including 30,000 children) are deliberately forced to
\nstarvation, deprived of medicine and vital goods. The Azerbaijani authorities
\ncarry out abductions of civilians. The Aghdam road, currently offered as an
\nalternative to the Lachin corridor, is an existential threat and a trap for
\nArmenians of Artsakh,” Tatoyan said.

He also noted that Azerbaijan continues to unlawfully keep
\nArmenian prisoners of war for political bargaining purposes, causing suffering
\nto the families of PoWs and missing persons, and keeping the Armenian society
\nin tension.

“It is obvious that the Azerbaijani authorities have no
\nintentions of peace. Moreover, they have recently carried out military
\nescalations, including “Yashma” and “Commando” special units, known for their
\nbrutality, along the border with Armenia and Artsakh,” Tatoyan noted.
