Russian President Vladimir Putin, dressed in military uniform, visited the command post of one of the units in the Kursk region and listened to a report from Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces, TASS<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

This marks Putin’s first visit to the Kursk region following the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the region.<\/p>\n

Below are the main orders the Russian president made at the command post:<\/p>\n

1) The Kursk region must be completely liberated, and plans should be made to create a security zone along the state border.<\/p>\n

2) The enemy must be defeated in the shortest possible time frame.<\/p>\n

3) The Russian president has demanded that Ukrainian military personnel in the Kursk region be considered terrorists.<\/p>\n

4) All prisoners must be treated humanely, but the Geneva Conventions do not apply to foreign mercenaries.<\/p>\n
