U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the launch of a large-scale military operation against the Houthis in Yemen.<\/p>\n

In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump stated that U.S. military forces have begun striking the organization’s bases, leaders, and missile defense systems to protect U.S. and allied vessels and restore freedom of navigation in the Red Sea.<\/p>\n

Trump indicated that the strikes will continue until the Houthis cease their attacks on ships. He also threatened Iran, demanding an immediate halt to its support for the Houthis.<\/p>\n

According to Al Mayadeen, nine people have died and nine have been injured in U.S. and British strikes in Yemen.<\/p>\n
