\nNasser Kanaani made a statement on his talks with the Armenian and Azerbaijani
\nauthorities.

“The Armenian authorities had expressed concern about the
\npossibility of a new military conflict provoked by Azerbaijan. However, the Baku
\nauthorities told us that they have no intention to mount an attack. As for the
\nrecent movements of troops, they said that it is a regular military operation
\nperformed in the run-up to the winter, as vehicles handle badly in mountainous
\nterrain.

The security along the common borders that Iran has with its
\nnorthern neighbors, is a rather delicate issue for us. We ensure the security
\nof our borders and continue to follow the developments in the Caucasus,” the
