Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Russia is concerned about reports of increasing tension along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border amid recent progress.<\/p>\n
“We urge our partners to maintain restraint and avoid any actions that could lead to an escalation of the situation. All emerging issues should be resolved exclusively through peaceful and political-diplomatic means. We are calling on Armenia and Azerbaijan to urgently return to the implementation of agreements reached at a high level,” Zakharova noted.<\/p>\n
Speaking about Russia’s commitments to Armenia in the bilateral format and within the CSTO framework, Zakharova stated that all of these commitments remain in force.
