\nof Artsakh have put up Samvel Shahramanyan as their candidate for the
\npresident’s post. The United Motherland party nominated Samvel Babayan. Acting

The application for Samvel Babayan’s candidacy, submitted by
\nthe United Motherland party, has been refused on the grounds that a reference
\nstating that Samvel Babayan has been only an Artsakh citizen for the last 10
\nyears and that he has been a permanent resident of the Republic of Artsakh for
\nthe last 10 years was not provided.<\/p>\n

Under Part 3 and Part 4 of Article 149.1 of “The Rules of
\nProcedure of the National Assembly” law, a special parliamentary session will
\nbe convened at 11:00 a.m. on Sept. 9, 2023; the presidential election will be
