The voting in Parakar went smoothly and even harmoniously, unlike in Gyumri. After the votes were counted and agreed upon, the Unity alliance from the opposition won the election. The alliance secured over 57% of the vote. Thus, the ruling Civil Contract Party and others were not given a chance to form a coalition.<\/p>\n
