Tree felling is again under way in the capital. According to a representative of the city authorities, they are cutting down diseased trees. Activists are countering the claim made by Armen Begoyan, Head of the Municipality’s Greenery and Environmental Protection Department. The assertion that only diseased trees are being cut is also denied by a council member, who states that they select one diseased tree while cutting down the rest under the guise of that tree.<\/p>\n
