The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia reports that a
\ncriminal prosecution has been brought against the former head of the Abovyan
\nurban municipal community, K. G.. It is noted that K. G. has committed a number
\nof transgressions, abused his authority and used it against state interests,
\nbreached a number of legal acts, expropriated lands and was engaged in money
\nlaundering.<\/p>\n

As a result of the alleged criminal acts, the community
\nincurred damages of 537 million 802 thousand 150 drams. Damages of 474 million
\n949 thousand 600 drams were recovered during the investigation.<\/p>\n
<\/p><\/p>\n
The man in question is Karapet Guloyan. The latter is the
\nson-in-law of the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan.<\/p>\n
