U.S. President Donald Trump believes that negotiations with Iran are progressing well, Trump told reporters.<\/p>\n
“I think everything is going well on their end,” he said, commenting on the results of the first round of talks between his special envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Oman.<\/p>\n
Trump added, “Nothing matters until you achieve what you want, which is why I don’t like to talk about it.”<\/p>\n
Earlier, the White House announced that negotiations between the American and Iranian sides regarding the nuclear issue had been constructive, with the next meeting scheduled for April 19.<\/p>\n
“The discussions were very positive and constructive,” a press release from the U.S. administration states.
