Since the end of the war, we have constantly shown with
\nfacts the unlawful presence of Azerbaijani armed servicemen in the immediate
\nvicinity of the Syunik airport and its runways. We showed their unlawful
\nreinforcements and what dangers it would bring. Former Human Rights Defender
\n(Ombudsman) of Armenia Arman Tatoyan made a Facebook post on this.

“At that time, everything was completely ignored, ignoring
\nprotection on the basis of human rights and security. Everything was denied.
<\/p><\/p>\n
Recently, there have been shootings of Azerbaijani armed
\nservicemen in the direction of both Kapan “Syunik” airport and the
\ncivilian aircraft carrying out the flight.
<\/p><\/p>\n
The damage caused to the airport (arrival hall, controller’s
\nroom, etc.) and the aircraft by shots prove that they were targeted. Moreover,
\nthe shots were fired from unlawful armed positions of Azerbaijan in the
\nimmediate vicinity of the airport runways.<\/p>\n
Among those places, the M2 interstate highway, the section
\nleading from the airport to Kapan (299-301-rd km, Gortsaranain Street), as well
\nas some part of the Kapan community, are under the target of the Azerbaijani
\narmed servicemen.
<\/p><\/p>\n
We have shown with facts that not only the
\n“Syunik” airport, but also the Hydropower Plant (HPP) in Jermuk, the
\n“Tatev” HPP, the Geghanush tailings dump in Kapan, and other objects
\nof strategic significance are under the Azerbaijani military direct target. All
\nthis in the context of the Azerbaijani ongoing crimes and Armenophobic
\npolicies, state-sponsored impunity further justifies the removal of the
\nAzerbaijani armed services.

Therefore, the removal of the Azerbaijani armed servicemen,
\nincluding through the creation of a security zone, remains a priority.<\/p>\n

Whose responsibility is all this now?<\/p>\n

Due to the nightmarish fears for power and position, the
\nlives and health of our citizens became more endangered. And denials continue
\nthe same way in such a dire situation.
