Algerian authorities have decided to expel 12 French diplomats, Le Figaro<\/a> reports, citing French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.<\/p>\n

“The Algerian authorities have asked our 12 employees to leave the country within 48 hours,” the minister said.<\/p>\n

Barrot added that Algeria is expelling the diplomats in response to the arrest of three Algerian citizens in France, who are suspected of legal violations on French soil.<\/p>\n
