The U.K. Ministry of Defence has announced the successful testing of a new radio wave weapon designed to neutralize drone swarms. The relevant statement was posted<\/a> on the British government’s website.<\/p>\n

As noted, the new weapon could help defend against threats posed by drones as the nature of warfare changes.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the weapon system demonstrator is a type of Radiofrequency Directed Energy Weapon (RF DEW) and has proven capable of neutralizing multiple targets simultaneously “with near-instant effect.”<\/p>\n
