Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated in a press briefing that the OSCE Minsk Group has lost its relevance due to the cessation of communications with Moscow by the U.S. and French co-chairs in February 2022, Armenia’s recognition of Artsakh as an inseparable part of Azerbaijan, and changes in the situation on the ground. “We believe that the optimal way to reach a relevant decision would be a joint proposal from Baku and Yerevan regarding the dissolution of these bodies.
