Spokesperson for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said
\nthat Russia appreciates constructive relationships with Armenia. However, they
\ncannot agree with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s observations
\nregarding the failure of the Russian peacekeepers’ mission. RIA Novosti wrote
\nthis, referring to Pashinyan’s interview with the Italian daily newspaper La
\nRepubblica. In his interview, Pashinyan allowed for the possibility of Russia
\nleaving the region.<\/p>\n

“Russia forms an inseparable part of this region. Thus, it
\ncannot leave the region,” Peskov said to journalists.<\/p>\n

Peskov underlined the fact that “there are more Armenians
\nliving in Russia than in Armenia”. The majority of these people are Russian
\ncitizens and make a substantial contribution to the development of the country.<\/p>\n
