A few days ago, news came in that four MPs from KP, namely
\nZaruhi Batoyan, Maria Karapetyan, Tsovinar Vardanyan and Sona Ghazaryan want to
\nratify the Istanbul Convention in an underhand way. <\/p>\n

In fact, they want to pass it off as a bill to make
\namendments to the law on the “Prevention of domestic violence”, to the Criminal
\nCode and in other laws (codes).<\/p>\n

The new informational bait is already put out. However, in
\n2019, we were not beset with acute and pressing problems, and tough challenges
\nwere not facing us; today our physical existence is jeopardized. But, even
\nagainst the backdrop of besieged and starving Artsakh and constant shooting,
\nthey are again up to bringing the Istanbul Convention up for public discussion.
