Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova has described<\/a> the removal of the word “genocide” from an EU mission’s social media post about the Armenian Genocide as “cynicism” and disgusting.<\/p>\n

In her Telegram channel, Zakharova quoted a report from Sputnik Armenia, explaining that the EU mission in Armenia had, for the first time, used the term “genocide” in a post commemorating the 110th anniversary of the tragic events. However, the word was later removed from their publication.<\/p>\n
