Turkey is monitoring the situation between Pakistan and India with concern, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said<\/a> in a statement.<\/p>\n

According to the Turkish foreign ministry, the attack carried out by India has created a risk of an outbreak of war, and “Ankara condemns such provocative actions and attacks directed against civilians and civilian infrastructure.”<\/p>\n

Turkey also calls on the parties to exercise restraint and refrain from unilateral actions.<\/p>\n

“We hope that necessary measures will be taken as soon as possible to de-escalate the situation in the region, and that the necessary mechanisms, including the fight against terrorism, will be established so that such incidents do not recur.
