On Sept. 6, the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission will hold
\nahearing<\/a> on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh caused by the blockade of the
\nLachin corridor.

At the hearing former Chief Prosecutor of the International
\nCriminal Court Luis Moreno Ocampo will present his Expert Opinion on the
\nsituation in Nagorno-Karabakh. Ocampo released his personal Expert Opinion on
\nAugust 7, stating that “there is a reasonable basis to believe that a Genocide
\nis being committed against Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023.”
