The Yerevan Council of Elders elections will take place on
\nSept. 17. Fourteen political forces are running for the elections.

The ruling political force, i.e. the Civil Contract party
\nstands for the elections under number 2. Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan
\nheads the party’s electoral list. No less important are the rest of the
\ncandidates on the list; some of them have distinguished themselves with their
\n“unusual” behavior.
