As of now, there are 40 POWs kept in Azerbaijan. Most of
\nthem were captured after the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, was
\nsigned. The Armenian serviceman, captured most recently in the run-up to the
\n“era of peace”, was a reservist participating in a military training. He was
\narrested on Aug. 16.
