U.S. President Donald Trump believes Russian President Vladimir Putin is weary of the war in Ukraine and would like to sign a ceasefire. Trump made the remarks during an interview with Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I think Putin is tired of all this. He doesn’t look well, though he’s trying to appear fine,” Trump stated. According to the former president, the war should have lasted only a week, and had Russian tanks not been bogged down in mud, they could have reached Kyiv within five hours.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the prospects for Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, Trump noted that no deal would be possible without his personal involvement. He also revealed that he had a tough conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, saying he was displeased with Zelenskyy’s recent remarks.<\/p>\n
