Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. Vice President JD Vance in Vatican City during the inauguration ceremony of Pope Leo XIV, Reuters writes<\/p>\n
This was the first face-to-face meeting between Zelenskyy and Vance following the controversial discussion that took place at the White House in February.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Vance stated that the meeting was held at the U.S. ambassador’s residence. Participants in the discussion also included U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Zelenskyy’s Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak.
