Andrey Portnov, a former advisor to Ukraine’s former President Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead near the gates of a school in the Pozuelo de Alarcón suburb of Madrid, according to Cadena SER radio station.<\/p>\n
“An investigation is underway into the murder that took place near the Madrid American School in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, following the incident around 9:15 a.m. According to SER, the victim was Andrey Portnov, Yanukovych’s former advisor, who was included on the EU’s ‘blacklist’ for embezzling state funds in Ukraine or violating human rights,” the report states.<\/p>\n
