Extremely harsh are the words “for the sake of nothing”,
\nuttered — we all know by whom — once. Artsakh NA President Davit Ishkhanyan
\nsaid this with regard to the journalist’s question whether it could somehow
\nturn out that 120,000 people have endured all the hardships for the sake of nothing.

“I am sure that at least we do not do anything “for the sake
\nof nothing”,” Davit Ishkhanyan said. He added that what is going on in Artsakh
\nthese days is the continuation of the war.

“Today, my views will sound difficult for people to
\ndigest. However, let us remember how Artsakh was struggling for its right to
\nself-determination 100 years ago, but was forcibly annexed to Azerbaijan.
\nThirty years ago, Artsakh again took up its struggle with the same vision in
\nmind. I have our right to self-determination in mind, I have the idea of
\nArtsakh joining Mother Armenia in mind. We are going through a phase of fierce
\nstruggle for national liberation,” Ishkhanyan stated.
