Iran’s membership in the BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation
\nOrganisation (SCO) will help the Islamic Republic to reduce the negative
\neffects of western sanctions. As Armenpress learnt from TASS, Iranian President
\nEbrahim Raisi said this.

“Our membership in the BRICS global alliance and the
\nregional Shanghai Cooperation Organisation can play a significant role in
\nholding out against U.S. sanctions. Iran’s economic capacity will help the two
\norganizations strengthen their positions in the international arena,” Raisi
\nsaid in his press conference in Tehran.
