Today, Azerbaijan disseminated information about humanitarian
\naid sent from Baku to Stepanakert through the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society.
\nHowever, this was not discussed with the Artsakh side. Spokesperson for the
\npresident of Artsakh Lusine Avanesyan said this to Artsakhpress<\/a>. She added that
\nthis move was most probably aimed at exacerbating the problem, rather than
\nsolving it.

“The issue of using the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor
\nunder the established regime has been our top priority. Thus, any dialogue with
\nthe Azerbaijani side must be built around this issue. Free, unimpeded and
\ntwo-way movement for people, cargo and vehicles throughout the corridor must be
\nensured. If the Azerbaijani authorities are really interested in defusing the
\nterrible humanitarian crisis facing the people of Artsakh and averting genocide,
\nthey must merely not prevent movement of goods to Artsakh, as stated in the
\ntripartite Statement of November 9, 2020 and the Orders of the International
\nCourt of Justice,” Avanesyan noted.
