Azerbaijan again abducted residents of Artsakh. 22-year-old
\nAlen Sargsyan and a group of people from Artsakh were crossing the illegal
\nLachin checkpoint under the supervision of the Russian peacekeepers. The
\nAzerbaijanis separated Alen and other young people from the group.

The Artsakh ombudsman stated that five people were
\ninterrogated at the checkpoint. Alen Sargsyan was taken to an unknown
\ndestination. Two people were released. As for the other two boys, the Armenian
\nside has not managed to establish contact with them yet.

They are students; they were leaving for Yerevan to continue
\ntheir studies. Witnesses told ABC Media that before the arrest, the
\nAzerbaijanis brutally beat one of the boys.

This is nothing but a form of people’s emotional abuse and
\ninfringement of their rights.
