“We cannot allow Iran to acquire a nuclear bomb, and we hope to return to the negotiating table. We’ll see,” Trump’s words were quoted by Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin on X.<\/p>\n
Griffin noted that Trump had expressed willingness to defend Israel in the event of a retaliatory strike by Iran.<\/p>\n
