The Third Garrison Investigative Unit of the General
\nMilitary Investigative Department is conducting an investigation into the death
\ncircumstances of two servicemen of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of
\nDefense.
<\/p><\/p>\n
On Aug. 27, 2023, the Investigative Committee received a
\nreport that around 4:00 p.m., in the military position of the N military unit
\nof the RA Ministry of Defense, observer of the same post, serviceman A.H. shot
\nhis senior A. Kh. dead with his AK-74 assault rifle. Afterward, he shot himself
\nin the chin with the same weapon. A.H. died from a gunshot wound as a result.

Criminal proceedings regarding the case have been brought
\nunder Article 155, Part 1 and Article 522, Part 2, Clause 3 of the RA Criminal
\nCode.
<\/p><\/p>\n
The investigation is underway. According to preliminary
\nreports, the cause for the incident was interpersonal relationships between the
\nservicemen.
