Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan, Primate of the Diocese of Shirak, is currently at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, participating in a Synod of Priests, lawyer Tamara Yailoyan told Sputnik Armenia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Ajapahyan’s defender was not allowed to enter the residence, where a search is currently underway. Law enforcement officials have stated that the lawyer will be able to enter after the search is completed.<\/p>\n

To remind<\/a>, it became known yesterday that a criminal case has been brought against Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan, Primate of the Diocese of Shirak.
