On Aug. 23, the Yerevan Council of Elders elections’
\ncampaign began. Thirteen parties and one alliance are running for the elections
\n— Democratic Consolidation party among them.

Leader of the party Suren Petrosyan told ABC Media that it
\nis important that we understand the situation in our country and how we can
\ncope with it. In this regard, the party introduces its own concept of reshaping
\nthe society.

According to the party leader, these elections should not
\nmerely be perceived as the Council of Elders elections. The important thing is
\nto grasp the message that political forces will convey to the society.
