During a press briefing, U.S. State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce referred<\/a> to the statement of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who expressed hope that a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan would be signed very soon.<\/p>\n

Asked by a reporter whether there is active U.S. involvement, a U.S.-led, mediated process that is currently underway, and what makes the secretary of state believe that a happy ending can be expected, Bruce replied: “It was important enough, of course, for him to mention. And we’re excited about the multitude of arrangements and ceasefires and changes that we’ve been able to be involved in.
