The U.S. has proposed taking control of the transport corridor planned between Armenia and Azerbaijan to advance the prolonged diplomatic negotiations between the two Caucasian countries, Middle East Eye<\/a> writes, referring to U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack.<\/p>\n

Although Armenia and Azerbaijan reached an agreement in March on a draft peace treaty, Baku continues to insist on several additional conditions before officially signing the agreement.<\/p>\n
