U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack has announced that Israel and Syria have reached a ceasefire agreement in Syria’s Suwayda province, with the support of the United States, Turkey, Jordan, and other countries in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
“We call on the Druze, Bedouins, and Sunnis to lay down their arms and work together to build a new and unified Syrian identity alongside other minority groups,” Barrack wrote on X.<\/p>\n
To remind, in mid-July, clashes broke out in Syria’s Suwayda province between Bedouin militias and armed Druze groups.
