India’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has resigned citing health reasons, Hindustan Times<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

“Prioritizing my health, I am immediately resigning from the position of Vice President of India,” Dhankhar wrote, expressing his gratitude to the President, Prime Minister, Parliament, and Cabinet for their joint efforts.<\/p>\n

Dhankhar assumed the office of Vice President in August 2022.<\/p>\n
