On August 18, 2023 at 04:24 a.m. from the Azerbaijani side,
\nan unknown person, who arrived in a yet unidentified vehicle at the territory
\nadjacent to the Syunik airport in Kapan of the RA Syunik province on the
\nArmenia-Azerbaijan border, fired three shots from the territory of Azerbaijan
\nin the direction of the Syunik airport in Kapan, after which he left, the RA
\nNational Security Service reports.

Two bullets damaged one of the windows and the roof of the
\nairport. We call on the Azerbaijani authorities to conduct a proper
\ninvestigation on the incident and take measures in order to exclude the
\nrecurrence of such incidents.

The Border Guard Troops of the RA NSS are ready for a joint
\ninvestigation and\/or transfer of the relevant videos to the Azerbaijani side.
