Wildfires continue to sweep through various parts of Spain, El País<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

According to the newspaper, nearly 6,000 hectares have burned, including areas in communities near the capital, Madrid.<\/p>\n

“The city of Tres Cantos has lived through a hellish day; due to the fires, residents of two neighborhoods adjacent to the city center were forced to evacuate,” the article states.<\/p>\n

Thousands of people have been evacuated and were forced to spend the night outdoors.<\/p>\n
